I worked on 💡
🌈 Designed and user-test a new game feature:
In this project, I was the sole UX designer tasked with designing a new game feature, which needed to be produced within specific budget and time limitations. I took on this challenge with enthusiasm and a clear understanding of the project requirements.
The initial phase of the project involved envisioning the feature proposal and transforming it into high-fidelity prototypes. I used my expertise in UX design to develop wireframes that were aligned with the overall vision of the game. To ensure that the final product would be user-friendly and engaging, I conducted 8 internal player tests and used the feedback to improve the wireframes.
Throughout the project, I worked closely with game designers and stakeholders to ensure that the design met their expectations. I engaged in active conversations with them, asking for their feedback and incorporating it into the design. I communicated clearly and regularly with all stakeholders, updating them on the project's progress and sharing the latest prototypes.
As the project evolved, I designed, iterated, and presented the final deliverables. I took into account all the feedback I received from the internal player tests and stakeholders, and made necessary adjustments to the design. In the end, I delivered a user-friendly game feature that met the project requirements and exceeded the expectations of the stakeholders.
🌈 Redesign GMS tool:
My involvement included participating in the fact-finding and design process aimed at identifying areas of difficulty and enhancing the internal management system tool at the studio. Presently, various teams such as PMs, QAs, Arts, Econ, etc., rely on different calendar planning tools, which causes challenges when updating information on existing events and adding new bundles of events. I assisted the senior designer in conversing with each team to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current event planning workflows. Subsequently, I took over the task of redesigning a calendar tool that caters to the requirements of all the teams involved.
